Step-by-Step Guide

At PGK, we want parents, partners, and sponsors to feel confident that every contribution is safe, secure, and used only for children’s education, gifts, and scholarships. Here’s exactly how it all works and how we ensure funds are handled responsibly.

Step 1: Every Child Gets Their Own Account

  • When a child receives a PGK Clubhouse Membership, a General Youth Fundraiser Account in their name.

  • This account is NOT a bank account in the child’s name, but a secure sub-account managed by PGK and our 501(c)(3) fiscal partner (a church nonprofit).

  • Parents can log in anytime to see contributions, track balances, and choose how funds are used.

Step 2: How Funds Are Collected

Money goes into a child’s PGK General Youth Fundraiser Account in several ways:
✔ PGK Product & Service Purchases – Every time someone buys PGK products, services, or programs under the child’s account, 25% of the purchase is added to their balance.
✔ Sponsorships & Donations – Businesses and community members can sponsor children, adding funds to their accounts.
✔ Family & Community Referrals – When parents refer other families to create PGK accounts, a portion of their contributions also supports the original child’s account.
✔ Career Referrals – If a parent refers someone to start a PGK career (Specialist, Team Captain, or Director), 5% of that person’s PGK revenue is added to the child’s account each month.

Step 3: Where the Money Is Held

  • All funds are placed in designated sub-accounts within authorized banks, managed under the 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure of our church partner.

  • This ensures tax-free contributions and compliance with state regulations (usually capped at $10,000 per child per year).

  • The church’s nonprofit status allows us to securely manage these funds for their intended purpose—not as direct cash payments to parents, but as educational and life-enhancing rewards for children.

Step 4: How Parents Can Use the Funds

Parents can choose how to use their child’s funds each year, selecting from the following:

  • Education & Scholarships – Covers daycare, after-school programs, books, tuition, uniforms, summer camps, and even college savings plans (529 Plans).

  • Gifts & Rewards – Children can redeem points for field trips, family vacations, special events, and fun experiences.

  • Emergency Assistance – Parents can request up to $1,000 per year for urgent family needs. This is separate from scholarships and rewards.

Step 5: How Parents Access & Track the Account

  • Every parent gets secure login access to see their child’s account balance and contributions.

  • PGK provides quarterly updates so parents always know how much is available and how funds are being used.

  • Each year, parents can decide how contributions will be spent and submit requests for scholarships, gifts, or emergency funds.

Step 6: Keeping Everything Safe & Accountable

  • Funds are never used for anything other than the child’s education, rewards, or emergency needs.

  • PGK and our 501(c)(3) partner handle all record-keeping, compliance, and financial tracking to protect families and ensure transparency.

  • All requests for fund usage must be approved by PGK, ensuring they align with the program’s purpose.

Final Thoughts – Why This Works

✔ Every child has their own account, not a shared fund.
✔ Funds are protected in secure banking sub-accounts under a 501(c)(3).
✔ Parents and sponsors can track every contribution and usage.
✔ There are no tax burdens for families.
✔ Funds grow through multiple channels, including purchases, sponsorships, and referrals.
✔ This program creates real, lasting benefits for children’s futures.

This system is designed to reward and support active children and families, ensuring funds are always available for educational growth, rewarding experiences, and community support.
